i had an extensive juvenile criminal record, but was admitted to several schools regardless. I have contacted my schools dean on student affairs inquiring as to how difficult it will be to be admitted to the bar. He assured me that as long as you are completely honest and candid with the character and fitness people they tend to be very forgiving of what is in the past.

The "upper classman" thing is hysterical. Whenever I approach my TA (2nd year coolguy) he refers to me as "you all"

I just finished it. Its probably worth it considering it will only take you like one or two days to read (it's very breezy) and besides, it only cost like 15 dollars (used). Its definetaly not the "answer" that it purports to be, but it gives some interesting insight, and new way of thinking about analasys by identifying "forks" in the "law" and "forks" in the facts of hypos. The goal is to manipulate those forks to help make arguments for and against your "clients."

I am in the same boat, moving from NJ to Jacksonville. I plan to ship my car through "dependable auto shippers" I know someone who has used them and he says they are very reliable. I think it costs about $500.

I have a question, why buy casebooks? Why not just get the assigned cases from lexis-nexis and not waste money on books? Any comments?

I just put a deposit on an apartment in what I believe is the "Intracoastal" area (Mariner's Club appts. on San Pablo Road). The place is a little pricy for the area (735 a month) but its beautiful. Im coming from NJ and am pretty happy about moving to Jax. I have some reservations about job prospects coming out of FCSL but hopefully that will motivate me to work hard. From what I understand orientation is highly reccomended and begins on the 15th or 16th. The facilities arent nearly as bad as I had heard. Very clean and modern. Just not like a traditional college campus. If anyone has any q's can email me at avecchio@eden.rutgers.edu
