Likely naive questions (at least the second one) but here goes...
After recondidering my decision to sell it, I may just hold on to my new copy of OneNote 2007....but:
- It is my understanding that the MS Office 2007 suite was designed for Vista and I am still on XP, will this affect my use of OneNote 2007?
- If I already have OneNote 2003 installed and try to load 2007 will my computer explode (or the like)?

How come Diddy has enough talent for 2 groups?
How come that show is not about talent or groups?
How come it's about tv show $$ for Diddy?

Wow, Con Law and Property in the same semester eh? Ouch. Then again, I guess any way you chop it, there really is no good combination for the "Big 6." No matter the order, we have to suffer through all 6 of them eventually at some point. Good luck 1L's. It'll be over before you know it.
Having 20/20 hindsight now, one thing that I would have done as a 1L that nobody EVER came close to suggesting is to get the multiple choice Bar exam books for the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) from PMBR and do those multiple choice questions for the Big 6 minus Civ Pro (they take out Civ Pro on the MBE and replace it with Evidence). I can honestly say that I did not fully comprehend the fine points of Property or even the big picture of Contracts at all until I studied these questions for the Bar. Indeed, I didn't realize how much about Crim Law that I did NOT know until I did these questions.
Although you def can't learn how to think like a lawyer from doing multiple choice questions, they would def provide some of the crucial answers to many of the basic-level questions that far too often remain unanswered by the hundreds of ambiguous cases or the many intentionally confusing law professors who like to play "hide the ball" from 1L's.
Nobody ever suggests that route to 1L's (I guess they figure you guys have more than enough suppliments to look at), and certainly nobody ever suggested that to me when I was a 1L, but I feel extremely confident in saying that if you could do all those problems in the PMBR book for your respective classes, you would have the substantive law concepts down COLD. Given the 1001 other things you have to juggle during 1L, I'm sure it would be a pain in the azz trying to squeeze those questions in, but it would be worth it come exam time if you could throw those in your study regiment somewhere.
This was suggested to me by a partner at firm event during my admissions cycle. Still haven't done it though

Last week I ordered Microsoft's OneNote 2007 and today I found out that the 2003 is already loaded onto my laptop. Is there much difference b/w 2003 and 2007?...Are the differences worth keeping the newer version or should I return it? Keep in mind that $56 means a heck of a lot after moving and buying books. LOL You brand-name whore! I think you should change your name to Hermés.
lol @ the n00b
It's Hermès. Accent grave.
Lol he was giving it the negro spelling (and pronunciation). Maybe he'll get to keep his card after all
Nope, nope, that would've required the Beyonce spelling/pronunciation....Hurrmay. His card is revoked, like yours.

Got books, all used, no highlighting. I'm feeling a little better. Now to investigate "One Note"...worth it?
you can get it pretty cheap on amazon...about $56 or so (new)
Jem, you are such a rockstar! I was all up on the Microsoft website...I should've known better.
