NY essays were easy (relatively speaking), the MBE was either dreamland or nightmare. all in all, it was a pretty awful experience. i will be very disappointed if i have to go through it again.

i really think that this should be a no-brainer. you clearly have law firm aspirations. how many "good" law firms are there in phoenix? i know that snell and wilmer is located there, and lewis & roca too, but other than that (as far as i know), your options are somewhat limited. it's not like you can pick up with your asu JD and head to cali, either. you're stuck dealing with what you can find in either phx or tuscon. asu is, on its best day, both a very mediocre and a very regional law school. you're at the 15th percentile or so. you're not top 1%, you're not top 5%. i personally wouldn't bet on you to land a SA gig at either snell or lewis. WUSTL is a t20 school with a strong OCI program. how many law firms participate in WUSTL's OCI? 300? 400? 500? who knows. whatever it is, it's up there. i'm guessing that your chances of landing some sort of biglaw position will increase 10 fold with the transfer. this should be the easiest decision of your life...

hmm i don't know about the rest of you but i'd rate the difficulty of the NY essay questions today in 1.5 to 4 (maybe) range (10 point scale), where as most bar/bri essays seemed to fall into the 7-10 range.

you know, just thought that i'd add another reason ;)

i feel as if i've memorized all that i can possible memorize. my head is full of claps, fuwels, mad fifis, mr3s, escapists (huh? something about plenty o' pain? where am i?) logpits, abcs, indefeasibly vested remainders subject to open total divestment complete defeasance, and god knows what else. really, my head just might explode before i reach the test center (sounds like the merciful result at this point ..)

and oh, good luck to everyone!

[helllloooo pyramid scheme!]

I don't think that word means what you think it does

yeah i know

obviously its not a true pyramid scheme over even resemble an actual one to any huge degree

but you get the idea - you know, 1 epartner maintaining a large base of associates (none of which ever have a legitimate shot at making partner) who then pay a sig % of what they bill back into the partner pool etc etc
