Studying for the LSAT / For the October of November people.
« on: September 18, 2005, 06:02:42 PM »
Hello everyone.

Well, it's late September and I am officially worried. If anyone can give me any advice I'd really appreciate it.

I am scoring 155-158 on every single pretest. I really really want to get into Northeastern or Boston College, I would be extremely happy with either one. My GPA is 3.4 and I have some interesting background, such as working at a mental hospital and teaching children in Africa, and working with abused children in Ireland.

So, do I take the LSAT's October 1st, knowing my LSAT score will be around 156, or do I wait until December and assume that I can bump it up 5 or so points???

I am really unsure of what to do, please help me.
Thanks for the time.

Where should I go next fall? / Northeastern

Hello everyone. I am in love with Northeastern Law, it is really geared to my interests. I am taking the LSAT's in October, however, based on practice scores I am expecting somewhere between a 150-156. I know that this is a bit low for Northeastern. So I am curious as to how much Northeastern looks at other stuff...for instance I spent a few months in Africa working at a mental hospital and teaching English to kids, I also spent six months in Ireland working with abused children. I was hoping that some of you who were accepted at Northeastern can tell me your stats, and what you think my chances are.

Thanks for any help you can give, I am really worried.

P.S Are there any other schools similar to Northeastern, or any schools at all, who may put less stock in the LSAT?
