I'm with ya, loveless.  I'll probably read Getting To Maybe at some point, but PLS made me want to stick something in my eye.  I picked it up, thumbed through, and put it down so fast you'd have thought it was radioactive.  I think it's just geared at a very different personality type than mine, and I have no doubt it's got a lot of great information.  But I can give myself a headache for free, thank you very much.

Yeah, well, we can sit at the slackers table at lunch I guess.

I get next to nothing during the summer in my UMich e-mail, and absolutely drilled by University-sent mail once the school year starts. I'm really hoping this will stop now that I'm at the Law School.

I've somehow got that already... don't ask me how.

Plus I work 40+ hrs/week, have a girlfriend and a band in the studio to worry about right now, along with a decently-sized pleasure reading list that I don't wish to abandon.

Do you guys really think it's going to help that much? I pretty much decided not to do any school-related reading (as just about everyone has recommended).

btw, how are you doing out there, all settled in and enjoying the place?

Very settled in and having a blast.  We've been trying out a bunch of different shops/restaraunts, generally with good results.  I'll tell ya, this city makes some amazing sam'iches.  There's a huge art fair that starts tomorrow and they've basically shut down downtown for it, so I'm looking forward to that.  Sometime soon we'll take a trip out to Chicago and then up the beaches on the west coast.  I hear there are some good vineyards out here, too, so I'll definitely need to confirm that sometime soon.  Looking forward to have a little company, though.  Maybe we'll throw a party when some others start moving in.  Who knows?

I might come down for the art fair on Saturday, depends. The GF and I are ridiculously broke, but we could maybe swing it (although we are going to the Tigers game Friday). I don't know if I could hand the patchouli stench all day either, or the B.O. I could, however, go for a nice walk through the Arb.

There are some things about AA that I just don't miss.

Sorry to bust into your thread here everyone but I figured this was the best place to say this: I JUST GOT OFF THE WAITLIST FOR MICHIGAN SUMMER'07 START!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice. So now they're deferring this year's WL people to next summer? Cool.

I really hope I'm still functioning next summer.

Something like that.

If I do, or if I cut off your daughter's doll's hair or trip you while you're playing baskbetball, I'm just trying to be affable.
