"My torts prof would say that is not a battery, because the man had no intent to break the arm of the person falling etc. "
With implied consent, and also lack of intent; a reasonable person in the man's shoes (falling off a cliff) would not find that offensive.

but better rally around ZONA!
Arizona is looking strong right now, perhaps Final Four material!
Like I said, Zona will (or should) be the National Champ soon!

Its been a while, so forgive me if some of this is not up to speed, but I think it is. What troubled me was the word VEST, and it honestly took me about a month to actuall grasp the RAP
Vest DOES NOT mean POSSESSION, it generally just means ascertainable person. Will a person be known, or will a person not be known, by the day of 21 years?
e.g. Bud Selig to Mark McGuire until the baseball homerun record is broken. If Broken, to Bonds, if not, then to Sammy Sosa.
Will the homerun record be broken (the vesting event), or not be broken in 21 years? No, b/c it can be broken before or after the 21 years, violation!

If you are using Dukeminier, honestly, the book itself is awesome (for a casebook). I use that with Gilbert to supplement, but usually my professor likes to pick out little things in the cases not covered in Gilbert, or other commercial outlines (which again, makes the casebook so good). E&E is not all that good, but it helps indeed, read it after you cover it in class and you will understand the lecture better!
Something else which may help you is Moynihan "Introduction to the Law of Real Property" which covers Future Interests thoroughly.

KU will (hopefully) beat Oklahoma State and get their #2 seed... but they need to beat OSU to have any chance in March, their confidence is just shot.

Sunday's College Basketball Trivia: who hit 9 3's, some of which were far beyond the NBA range, some drained with tons of static and double teaming, in a win setting a home record?

Sands, a moment of silence for KU, in fact, two...
They are still a #1 seed (unless Zona takes it

Duke is not deep enough to get this attention. Honestly, look at Zona that last 5 games. Look at Salim, compared to Reddick, yet Duke gets all the hype, and they are not even that good. Did you know Zona has tried the last 2 years to get non-conference games with Duke, but Duke will only agree if they play one game on their court, and one game on a neutral court in the east coast! Lute said, One game at Duke, One game in California (which is still pretty neutral), and they said no. They get no respect from me. Salim is better across than Reddick, and where is his ESPN segment reciting poetry? They will be a three seed, and probably will lose to Wake on Sunday.
Okay, enough ranting.

There is no way BC is a #1 seed, and no way Washington is a #1 seed.
NC at Duke tonight, that will be great - what a conference that is!

BTW, Syracuse is about to lose, this should put Arizona in the top 10 next week, premised upon sweeping so-cal.
Boston College, are they bona fide?
