Speakers, field trips, assisting the indigent under supervision of TBA attorneys, etc.  The TBA has expressed a desire to assist in forming this but the school does not seem that interested.  I dont know whether to push it or not.

Would anyone currently at NSl be interested in forming a legal aid society under direction of TBA?

I am 2nd year; I know two girls; both are married, have kids, etc.  One drives from Johnson City and the other from Seiverville; they go back to back nights (Mon/Tues and Tues/Wed) and spend at least one night - one with relatives; the other in a motel.  I dont know how they do it other than with total dedication.

Boxergirl, I live in Franklin and attend the tortured and maligned (with good reason) NSL; my neighbor tells me his daughter is 1L at a law school in Oregon and he is keeping her dog (which is a boxer); it just struck me as such a coincidence!  Marge

Judge Smith's wife is Elizabeth Owen; she used to be on Fox - consumer reporter but now, I believe, she is like the head of consumer affairs (national or state - i dont know).  Last year, he did not take off points for being unprepared...must be getting tips from Lewis.
