I am finding the vocabulary in the 2L properties class to be very confusing.

The verbs are transcripts of previous year's classes.  The one for Davidson's Torts class are really helpful.  Look on the bulletin boards and you should find an advertisement.  Never did figure out why Lewis's wedding ring moves around.  It was always funny to see which hand it was on.

Current Law Students / Re: Mom of three for law school... crazy?

I was "surfing the board and this post hit me between the eyes!  I am a mother of three (16, 13, 6).  I work full time.  I chaperone the high school band, and lead a girl scout troop.  My husband is assistant scout master for the boy scout troop and den leader for the tiger cubs.  This is my second year in night school.  I attend what is termed full time - 12 hours.  I will take me 4 years to get my JD.  At the end of last year, I was in the top 10% of my class.  Everyone who knows me tells me I am crazy, but at the same time they are not surprised.  Seems I am not happy unless I have "too much" to do.  Law School terrifies me while it exhiliarates.  It can be done.  However, you have to have the full support of your family.  My older children really get a kick out of mom having more homework than they do.  My youngest simply accepts it as part of life.  I husband waits up for me at night and doesn't complain when I have to attend a study group for a large part of the weekend because we have a test.  Yes, you are crazy, but it can be done.  Someone once told me, "You can do anything you want to if you want to bad enough."

Trust me the verbs for Davidson are well worth the price.  Oh, and read Dobbs.  You will be tempted not to read it as the days wear on, but reading it will gain you a couple of points on the tests.  Can't wait to read this board after Davidson's Mid-Term!

Looks like this is all first years.  Have fun.  Buy the verbs for Davidson.  You'll learn to love Lewis.  By the way which hand is Lewis wearing his wedding ring on?

If you are talking about Lewis's Contracts class, I would strongly suggest you breif all the cases at least loosely.
