Nashville School of Law / Briefing cases on Westlaw
« on: September 16, 2004, 09:19:07 AM »
There is a "brief it" function you can choose. It is certainly not sufficient to form a brief to present in class but it does give you the important stuff and helps guide you through the case when you are reading it. It is a brief of the brief we need to have ready to present.
Just look for "brief it" and enter the citation. Email me if you have difficulty!

Nashville School of Law / ok I've figured it out
« on: September 15, 2004, 05:29:12 PM »
Now I can post a new topic to the forum. Yeah, I did it! I am getting a bit goofy!
I was curious how everyone has prepared for the Crimes midterm.
I have reviewed cases, the text, and note.
Anything else anyone is doing?
Susan ;)

General Board / Crimes mid-term

Just a survey of how people are preparing.
I've typed my notes and studied them
Reread and studied briefs
Reread highlighting in chapters
Looked through examples at end of chapters.
Anything I've forgotten?
Thanks!  ???
OH, HOW DO I GET THIS TO THE NSL BOARD? I AM ON THE GENERAL BOARD RIGHT?
PLEASE FORGIVE MY IGNORANCE!

General Board / using Westlaw

Has anyone really figured out how to use Westlaw for advance searches? Is anyone at NSL going to show us how? It is difficult to search without a citation....any advice?
