[. I don't mind working together, but it has to be more symbiosis then parasitic.
The real shame of it all is that law school fosters this competative nature. If I help people in my class, it will hurt me by making the curve shift. Such a shift will likely take me more towards the middle. You see, if they toss the forced bell curve, I would tell everyone everything.
Well, anyway, I don't mind helping here. As you see, my reasons for remaining silent is to avoid people asking me things, and wanting to take advantage of me. Then there is also the bell curve thing... anyway, I don't have to compete with any of you, and I can ignore posts if I don't want to answer.
ps. This will be the last time I speak of this. I hate the people who walk around with big heads. I don't want to be one of them. I think one should accept victory as humbly as they might accept defeat.
yeah duma....how was your break? I know we were all to the (beyond) breaking point there at the end. How is your dog, did she have surgery? My dog did have the surgery. It has went better then I could have hoped. She slept the first few nights, and has been walking around on her leg ever since. We are doing rehab now. We will do leg stretches and walk more and more until summer. If it wasn't for the cold, I would enjoy the walks.I got all but one of my grades back.... and so far I like it.
As far as my graeds go...I am not usually one to brag. I can tell you that no one that I go to school with will know my score, but since none of you know me, I don't mind telling you. I actually set the high score for my torts class, and my research class. I don't know what my K score is yet, but I am hoping to pull the hat trick
Downy, will you sit beside me? Maybe we could study together?
I stopped by the Knights of Columbus meeting for a few minutes before heading home. The first Wednesday of the month is our social meeting. It was my first such meeting. Nowhere else in the south could you expect a church men's group to be drinking beer and playing penny ante poker at one of their meetings. I love it. If it weren't for this darned law school, I could have stayed and cleaned them out. There was at least 23 cents in the pot when I left!
With only 6 brave voters out of some 143 views of the Big Writing Course Poll , it's obvious that most viewers either don't understand how to register a vote,
don't care to vote, or are afraid of the repercussions.
Kudos to all courageous voters who have dared to drop their finger on the mouse button of dammmmmmmmnation!
Here endeth the sermon.
