I just got the folder as well. Seems like a waste of good paper to me, since almost all of this was sent by e-mail already. But it does kind of make it more real, pressing.

Also, how cool is it that Towelie and Legapp are both on the orientation committee?
They are? I strongly believed that they should have been identified as such! It would make it a lot easier.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: Do I disclose??

That's not what "disciplined" means for the state bar. You were not put on probation or temporary leave. You did not lose a year of seniority per union rules. You did not have to sign and acknowledge a formal letter of reprimand. You're clean.

Because the CA bar is one of the hardest in the country, and because they were at one point on probation with the ABA for low bar passage rate.

Business cards? For law school? You're trying too hard.

I needed some now, for various reasons. They print'em 250 at a time, and for $16, it's not really a luxury item.

I just had some business cards printed with the 510 area code.

'belle-fille' would be daughter-in-law. In common parlance, one would probably here more often 'jolie fille' than 'belle fille'.

And the screenname isn't nearly as good for people who actually speak French, because then it just comes off as arrogant.

How is 'daughter-in-law' arrogant?  ;)
