It's early for statistics. Time will only tell, especially after the Oct and Dec. testing dates, whether the numbers are really down from last year's.

You might want to investigate each school's attrition rate. California Western has easy admittance, but it also has a very high attrition rate. Choose your school wisely. No sense spending all that time and effort at a particular school only to fall thousands of dollars behind in debts with nothing to show for. 8

Sounds like good schools to choose from.
I do not know much about a particular school that would best serve you well. Only you can decide. When I first came to New Haven, Connecticut for school a few years ago, I felt very shy, afraid, timid and reticent about my own identity in a strange, new environment. A few years later, I learned that as much as one is influenced by one's surrounding, one also can influence the environment. Your uniqueness will definitely add flavor to where you will end up. Don't retreat to your shell. Breathe and welcome any new experience that comes in your path. Others will delight if your insight and wisdom if they are your friends. It took me a while to come to this thought, but I am a better person for discovering this. Hopefully you too will find your new home comfortable and a place of growth. I am a Vietnamese-American male who has been out of school several years now and is currently working full-time. I graduated with a 3.5 from a liberal arts program in the southwest. I intend to take the LSAT in Oct 2005. I was born in Vietnam but grew up in the states most of my life. Anyone knows if I am under the URM category? What good law schools would be receptive of these facts? Friendly and seriously advice welcome.

I am a Vietnamese-American who is contemplating law school for 2006. I have a 3.5 from a liberal arts program a few years ago. I work in Boston and thinking of attending school in the northeast or in the south (Texas), but that is contingent on the LSAT results after October '05.
