Albany has a nice big town/small city feel to it. The bar scene is lively, due to the number of undergrads here, and if you're a live music fan you'll be able to have your pick of venues just about anytime of week. There's a nice urban park near the law school (similar in design, if not in size, to Central Park in NYC) and a number of reasonably priced restaurants surrounding the Lark Street and Pearl Street areas. There's a few popular dance bars on weekends, if that's your thing, but nothing like big clubs. If you're into big city nightlife, NYC, Boston, and Montreal are all within 3 hrs by car. No car? No problem. Train and bus service to all three cities is available several times a day.
If the outdoors is your thing, Albany is between the Catskills and Adirondacks, which offer great hiking and camping during the summers and the best ski resorts in NY. Albany offers a smattering of museums and a really cool performance space at the State Plaza called the Egg that attracts serious musical talent.
Oh yeah, Albany also has a really nice food co-op with lots of hard-to-find and organic foods!
Hope this helps give you an idea of what to expect.
Thank You!! ...your info was very helpful

and can you show us a question from section 1? or explain why your section three was not experimental? get off of LSD.. scams..
The vast majority of LSAT takers have the same section but there are always a few people that have the experimental section in a different location...they probably have to test section order and factor that into calculations.
die plz kthx

part of me wants to cancel and the other part of me is so sick and tired of looking at the LSAT's that cancelling and taking it again seems so daunting...i dont know what to do

I am in the exact same situation, trying to decide whether or not to cancell. I really bombed the RC, I think i did fine on LR, although I know I got a few wrong, and I think I made a few stupid mistakes on the games.
I really don't want to take any more time off, esp.. since I am graduating this year with a degree in philosophy, and what the hell am I going to do with that?
I think I will probably keep my score, since I only need a 156 or so to get into my undergrad, but, it will be really upsetting to be consistantly pretesting in the high-160s and not even break 160 on the real thing.
I guess it just depends on what you need to get into the school you want to go to.
I personally am just praying to break 160 or so...I will be happy with that.
Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.!!!!!
I am in the same exact boat with the rest of you. I think i bombed the RC section, did farily well on both LG and LR. I don't know if I should cancel though. Like most of you, i'm just praying i get into the high 150's or 160. It would suck not being able to go to law school next year. What the hell would i do with a political science degree
