Book has a slight crease in part of the cover, very small, but the book itself is totally unmarked. I anticipated I'd like to sell it eventually so I photocopied the tests and answer sheets. The tests included are 19-28. 15 US + shipping from Canada. Thanks for looking. camcky@nb.sympatico.ca

Thanks guys
One more thing..
If V1 ---> W2
the contrapositive is:
NOT W2 ---> NOT V1
Which means
If W1 ---> V2
Right? So in this case, they actually can't be together, while in the other case, technically they could?

Hi! Help! I'm totally confused by something. The third game on the June 96 test is as follows:
Each of two boats, boat 1 and boat 2, will be assigned exactly four people. Exactly eight people, three adults - F, G, and H - and five children - V, W, X, Y, and Z - must be assigned to the boats according to the following conditions:
Each boat is assigned at least one adult. If F is assigned to boat 2, G is assigned to boat 2. If V is assigned to boat 1, W is assigned to boat 2. X and Z are assigned to different boats.
Now.. question 13 states, "Which one of the following is an acceptable assignment of people to boat 1?
A) F, G, H, X B) F, H, W, Y C) F, H, Y, Z D) F, V, W, X E) G, H, X, Y
Using the contrapositive of rule 2 (F2 --> G2), you get F1 --> G1 according to the Logic Games Bible description of the way to use a "two value system". (page 110) Yet the test answer is C in which F and G are not in the same boat. According to the LGB, this should be wrong. Any help??
Thanks!! CHristy

Thanks Barnum. I agree about studying less when thinking about the possibility of December. I'm going to go to work in a few minutes and study until 3 am while the carpet guys do the floors. Take care, I'm sure you'll hear from me again!

Thank you Barnum. I'm going to follow that advice. I've done the ones in LGB twice, but really far apart time wise. Do you think 6 more weeks is enough time, with the method you mentioned, to get a firm grasp on the games? I would really prefer to write in October, but if necessary I will write in December. I just don't like to wait as it seems risky to put it all into one day. If I mess up in October at least I still have December. Any suggestions?

Thanks Barnum, I appreciate the advice. Trying to determine whether or not I'm studying effectively is difficult as there is no single way to do it. I am studying the actual game types, making notes which is something I did not do the first time I read the LGB, and I think I'm going to go through my preptest books and determine what some games are before even attempting them.. as a type of self quiz. Again thank you for your advice.
