Transferring / Difficulty with actual process
« on: February 23, 2006, 04:35:55 PM »
I am confused with the timing of transferring. Do students fill out regular E-apps on lsac and just have their law school send the 1year transcript to LSAC or to the respective law schools?

I cannot get a straight answer from LSAC on if I need to buy new reports or not ofr my schools.

Also, if schools are going to be reading the apps in the summer should I be including my summer employment on all of my resumes even though I have not began my job yet?

Any help would be much appreciated

I have been accepted to Touro, New Englans, Western New Englan, and Widener in PA...I have been trying to find out about those schools but havn't got much help, which ones are solid and have a good rep, any clues???

I am a bit discouraged because I currently work for the largest firm in the world and they all say (not knowing I am a poor lsat guy) its a waste if ur not in the top ten, cause they all make 150 thousand a year at 27 and don't understand how other students try to do it...

I am basically accepted to all the teir4 schools I applied to, none are close to home and I would have to live away..hence more money for me and my dad, (he's not happy about that) I wanna start school but I dont wanna dig a hole for myself because I'm not going to a great school, what should I do?

I got a 151 and took so many practice test and dont know how much I could get my score up...maybe to like a 156-158 at best...I am 22 now so I am young, should I wait and see what I can cook up for next year, my positives behind that are 1) because I can work a lot and go to school next year with a lot more of my own money 2) I can defer my acceptances that which guarantee my accpetance to those same schools if I blow it 3) I can possibly get into a better school with a better test score and if I do really well, transfer to not only a better school but a top school.example. a tier 4 transfer can maybe get into seton hall, if I am already in seton hall and do well I can possibly go to a top 50 school and that is a chance I think a year off is worth taking...

Or should I just go, because I have been acceting and go work hard somewhere, please help?!!?!?!!?
