I'm in Section A.  Procedure with Crump. Torts with Flatt. K's with Zamora. LARC with Tabor.

Anyone else? It seems like most on this board in B.

Cajun- Hah! I love buffalo wild wings! My husband and I just went by there, b/c tonight is .25 wing night; but, unfortunately, the midtown, location was packed so we stopped by Spec's (conveinantly sp?? located next door) and came back home.  Anyway- I'm up for Buffalo wild wings anytime!  Maybe we could make BWW our designated post-studying law school hangout.

Thanks for the advice with the laptop, I'll try them out.

My laptop came in over the weekend. I'm just now getting into it.  I've always used a desktop, so I'm trying to get used to the keypad instead of an external mouse.  I think I'm gonna go to Best Buy (or some tech-type similar store) and buy an external wireless mouse.

I have a question: Everything on the screen is really small.  Could be b/c I'm used to looking 21+in monitors, but isn't there a way I can make things look larger on my laptop monitor? Advice is appreciated.

Wow! I just completed my order for the Dell laptop.  Man-oh-man my total was $2027.71.  Goodness gracious, that's a lot of money!  So...I did it.  It had to be done, and I did it. I just wish it would've been free :)

So what'd you buy?!?! Give me specs. I feel left out. I thought we were going to order together! ;) I'll be ordering next week so it doesn't sit and accrue intrest on my credit card. . .

BTW How's it going with your stack of books?

Well, I got anxious and purchased it over the weekend.  All that rain got me in the mood for spending some money :)  I upgraded to the larger hard drive and the 1 DIMM.

My stack of books is getting smaller!  I've finished three of the Getting To Maybe-type books.  They all say the same thing, but they were very useful.  Tonight I'm going to start on one about judicial process, yippee.

My replacement at work has started, so I've been really busy with all of that.  It's great.  My last day is next Friday!!!  I have all of this week and next to teach my replacement everything I've learned about Securities law in the past two years.

Yeah, I agree.  All of the 'extra expenditures' that come with going back to school really add up... and, they're not technically included in the financial aid package.  And on top of that, the financial aid money isn't going to come in until after the school has been paid and then disbursed the remainder to the student.  So---we're looking at 2 weeks into class before we get any cash.  Which is okay for books, etc. b/c you can charge those onto your student account and don't accrue any interest.  But what about getting to the book store? And, what about the laptop we have to buy and have for the first day of classes??

My CC is hurting. I've just put $2K on it for my laptop--required by my LS.

I was hoping you were right.  No classes on Friday would be great.  Oh well, I suppose only have one class on Friday is good enough :)

Has anyone received anything from UHLC yet?

I saw the course schedule for the Fall on the UHLC web site.  No classes on Friday!! sweet.  Also, no classes before 9:00 am and only one class on Thursday.  I can't wait.

Hmmmm.  I thought there was a class on Friday.  Are you sure?
