Wow, interesting username, ad astra, what does it mean?

to the stars on the wings of a pig.  it has something to do with Steinbeck.  It might be in the Grapes of Wrath.

A lumbering soul but trying to fly.

Intriguing username, one shoe - what's the story behind it?

Current Law Students / Re: Presidential Hopeful ...

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States."

Art. II, Sec. 1, Paragraph 4, Qualifications for President.

The "age of thirty-five years" requirement is ridiculous!

The first two clauses are no joke either! :)

« on: August 07, 2007, 07:46:58 PM »
I'M TRYING TO REGISTER FOR THE 9/29 TEST DATE, AND THERE IS NO DATES THAT ARE HIGHLIGHTED.  I'M TAKING THIS TO MEAN THESE DATES ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.  CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS, AND ADVISE IF ONE CAN WAITLIST FOR A TEST DATE?
THANKS

Studying for the LSAT / GOOD LOGIC GAME STUDYING MATERIAL
« on: October 09, 2006, 05:12:56 AM »
Can anyone suggest a good resource for preparing for the games section?  I have McGraw - Hill's conquering LSAT Logic Games by curvebreakers.  If there is a better one, I would love to have it.

Thanks

Law School Admissions / DO I SAIL THE ROUGH SEAS ALONE
« on: November 14, 2005, 08:35:08 PM »
I'm basically looking to see if there are others out there, I'm sure there are its just a matter of finding them, in a similar situation as myself:  Graduating next month after taking like 6 classes, scheduled to take the December LSAT while not feeling all that ready for it, and havent immersed in the LS school application process yet, and really want to attend a T14.  I guess I'm wondering how many out there are behind 8 ball in the application process?  Its always nice to know that you're not alone, and if you find yourself in this situation, I would love to hear back from you.  I feel as though my walls are caving in at the moment.  Thanks and much love.

Thanks for the reply.  Actually my final exam schedule is relatively light this semester because I have mostly papers to turn in for final exams rather than traditional tests.  Also, final exams are about two weekd after the test.......
