If I were one of her friends or one of the chaperones on that trip, I'd feel really guilty. Her friends should not have let her go off alone with strange guys, and the chaperones should have actually done their job. I can't believe the first time anyone knew she was missing was when they were boarding the plane to go home! On my senior trip (which was not a classwide thing, just a group of people), my friend's mom kinda chased us down one night when we left the resort. I'm sure it must be hard to keep tabs on a bunch of 18 year olds, but that's what they were there for...

Just wanted to say that Blonde Girl is not indicative of all blondes.
(And blondielaw and blonde girl are not the same person)
Blondielaw's appraisal: Since you chose that picture, I'll assume you did not want an appraisal of your looks.
Hmm no really not what I was going for. Perhaps not the best picture of me, but a fun one. (and that was my pic way before you posted anything about being 'judged'- not why I posted. I don't feel the need to be flattered or criticized by strangers, my self esteem isn't that low)

I haven't been to milan yet, so I don't know about that... Venice is my favorite city in Italy.
You mentioned Germany though- I really like the bavarian region, particularly the town of Dinkelsbuhl (a beautiful walled city that looks like a gingerbread house town), and the area around the neuschwanstein and hohenswangau castles- absolutely stunning.
I do have some pictures online of my germany trip, if you want to see any let me know!

45% General American English
I don't usually say soda, pop, or coke (unless I actually want a coke) though, I tend to say 'soft drink.'

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me to appoint a guy who worked as a lawyer for American Petro to the title of chief of staff for the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Pretty big conflict of interest.
It also says he didn't just add a few words, he apparently deleted whole paragraphs.
"White House officials told the newspaper the changes were part of a normal interagency review of all documents related to global environmental change."

Sorry to get back on the environment, but...
Oh, sorry, it was the NY Times, they should not be trusted!!!!
Now why would someone who worked for American Petroleum Institute want to downplay research on global warming...

Actually I think there's a couple of girls on this board that like younger guys sometimes...
I wouldn't mind going out with an undergrad (Jr or Sr only though)

It's not just throwing away money if you use it in the right way, say, for education about certain practices like FGM. Or to help set up doctors offices, schools, etc.

Drunken sex (as if there is any other kind) is the best kind of stress relief. I am starting to think that I should lower my intelligence expectations. Did anyone see the Maureen Dowd article that noted how women are less likely to get married if they are more intelligent. I believe it was something like a 40% decrease for a 14 point IQ increase. When a man's IQ increased by 14 points his chances for marriage increased 40% or so.
So what's with all the smart men marrying dumb women? I just couldn't see myself married to someone who couldn't hold an intelligent conversation.
