It seems as if there has been two different notifications:

Straight Waitlist - you received a phonecall stating you are going on the waitlist.

Priority Pending/Hold -which is an application status update.  You received an email notifying you that your application is still very competitive and that you will either be accepted or waitlisted, you are still under active consideration.

I don't know... ???   There seems to be phonecalls where they are straight waitlisting people and emails that tell you that you are still being considered and you will be waitlisted or accepted, not straight out rejected, they will let you know. 

What does this mean??? I've been stewing about this for days since I am pending as well and haven't heard anything.

Thoughts anyone?

Good Luck on the wait list, it sure as hell beats a rejection, you may be benched but at least you know you're still in the ball game. :)

When did you go complete and how were you notified of your new waitlist status?
