Law School Applications / Re: 177, 3.58 safety?
« on: January 07, 2004, 12:28:56 AM »
Northwestern actually may NOT be a safety because the admin prefers people with work experience (of course, being in the GPA range and well above the LSAT range will only be beneficial).  Yet, as NU is not entirely numbers driven (the dean published a letter regarding preference for work experience), it may not be as much as safety as one would think.

For your numbers, Fordham really is a fine safety school.  Perhaps you would like to consider GW, but USC ought to be a safety with those numbers.  It's not like Boalt (Berkeley) which greatly prefers in-state students (unless you happen to be from Cali).

Law School Applications / Couple Random questions
« on: December 24, 2003, 03:15:59 AM »
For whatever reason, I thought that I knew my lsdas gpa (compared to my ug cgpa), but recently became unsure of the number.  Where on lsac.org can I see my lsdas gpa?

I sent in my apps very early, but had to request that schools delay my app review due to a low lsat score.  Since then, I retook the exam, and have also received grades for my most recent term.  Should I submit these scores to the schools just in case they make a difference?

Thanks,
Steve
