Has anybody done this or know if LLM programs will let you send a LOR that is on file at LSAC?

I don't think you can designate it for the LLM admissions so they probably have to contact the JD admissions office and have it transfered over.

I was thinking about attending Loyola, but I am a little worried about the area around campus. When I go to Lakers games I like to leave before sundown, have you had any trouble with the locals?

This isn't perfect but it gives you an idea of how many firms from different areas do on campus interviews at each school

Ohio State is a very good school but if you don't plan on practicing in Ohio I would go elsewhere. Obviously people around the nation have heard of the school, just like they've heard of all major universities with high profile athletics programs, but that doesn't mean a degree from OSU is going to beat out a comparable applicant from a regional school represented at the firm, because it will not.

Last year they switched at least 20 people from PT to FT the weekend before class started. I'm not sure if that was a 1 time deal or if they do that every year.

That's what I thought also, but in this case even with the scholarship+Perkins+Stafford I'm $10,000 under COA. Do schools have some incentive not to offer as many Perkins or Staffords?

If a school offers you merit scholarship money after first offering you nothing, can they then take away a Stafford or Perkins loan they previously offered you?

How many people are on the list?

Is anyone else here having a hard time with their immunization record?  I am having a hard time with the principle of the matter - after all, USD is in the Mission Bay area, not the Sao Paolo Brazil area.  Why do I need to have a TB test that has been done in the last year? I got all of my vaccines before I started kindergarten.  But, here I sit with bandages on my arm and with $103 less in my bank account, but fear not fellow students - you will not get Hepatits B from me.

That's funny because I had the exact same problem, my doctor said as long as I hadn't visited a 3rd world country recently there was no reason to get it, but then USD started busting my balls about it. It really makes me wonder about the ghettoness of Linda Vista if a TB shot is required to live there.

Good news at last, I talked to a girl in the admissions office and she said the roommate lists are going out tomorrow morning.
