Hi is there anyone out there who would be interested in studying with me for the MBE portion of the upcoming Bar in July? I am taking NY, but live in Atlanta,
Ga. Any help or assistance would be very appreciated. Thanks so much.

Anyone taking the NY Bar exam in July? I need a study partner. I took it twice with no help and missed it the first time by 16 points, but the second time by 63. I need help with the MBE portion. Be aware that NY tests domestic relations and estates or wills almost on a consistent basis and oh the NYMBE is always, always full of NY Practice, know that area too. But back to me, any takers out there? Just let me know. I am in GA by the way.

I got my undergrad degree at FSU and lived there five additional years and I can say as a black female who lived in Tallahassee, I never experienced any racism. Racisms exists everywhere so I wouldn't let that deter me from attending any school.
On another note, FAMU is notorious for giving students the run around about financial aid. having had family graduate from there I can attest to that fact. Lol, my coworker, who is a FAMU grad, and i were discussing that very issue at work today.
You are correct about the fin aid....lol....

Hello I am not certain which bar you are taking, but don't panic, you will be fine. Just make sure that you disclose everything you can remember and even if you cannt remember some things, just make a disclaimer that there may be other issues which may be forthcoming that you may have forgotten. Let me tell you I just found out that after paying off a lot of debt, the board never even saw my file, even though my analyst said that they did. They actually never presented it because of a personal issue I had with one of the staffers. I am actually consulting a lawyer right now.

That might be best reserved for the end(after its all over) have you thought about something more immediate that could help like contacting your state attorney general and senators?
I think that you are right about that. That may jeopardize me more than it would help me. I will try to talk with the Ga Supreme Court, since they are the ones who regulate and govern the office of bar admissions.

Can you get a refund that easy or would you have to sue?
Thank you again for responding. I am certain that they will not fork it over, they will probably tell me that they were utilizing the funds to assess my fitness. I will make a request for it and that is all that I can do. I am actually considering contacting the media to share with them what has happened to me during this process in hopes that it does not happen to anyone else.

The bottom line is something very fishy is happening in that office with regard to file, and I am so stressed out over this ordeal, that I am considering withdrawing my application and applying somewhere else. But not without my $1000.00 fee. They have done nothing to investigate the contents of my file, and they have everything that they need to make a decision.
