I've also created a message board for 1Ls since not everyone has a MySpace. Here's the link:

I just went complete today, and they told me that they're using my higher LSAT score for the evaluation, so I'm guessing I'll get in. If I don't get in at the 2 local schools I applied to, then I'll be heavily leaning towards attending Syracuse next fall.

Hey everyone, I just got my acceptance from MSU yesterday. I'm excited because I would definitely go there if the decisions at the last few schools I'm applying to don't pan out. I'm from New Jersey, so the weather wouldn't be as much of a shock to me as it would for others. I also got an invite to an admitted students day on March 25th, which I'm definitely going to try and make.

Maisel is kind of right though about it, every game counts in college football. Imagine if for a college football playoff, you only had to win your conference to get a bid. Say Ohio State is 10-0 and already has the conference locked up with only the Michigan game left. Say Tressel decides to sit his starters for the Michigan game to prevent injuries. Doesn't it just kill the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry since one team isn't really trying? (Though with how that rivalry has been going, that scenario might be the only way Lloyd Carr can beat Jim Tressel.)

You're not kidding about the weather, the humidity makes it a lot worse too.

I'll be moving into my place on the August 11th-12th weekend.
