Indiana - Bloomington / Re: Extra classes while in law school?

Alright. Thanks. That does help a bit, especially since it's coming from Dean Long. Even then, that's only like two classes, isn't it? That probably won't help much with learning a language. Hmmm.

Indiana - Bloomington / Extra classes while in law school?
« on: April 29, 2005, 01:49:06 PM »
Howdy all.

I was curious: does anyone know how to take classes outside the law school while currently attending the law school, like language classes? When I was debating where to go, people at IU told me it was possible but weren't too specific.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Acceptances / Re: American, kinda, maybe or maybe not?
« on: March 18, 2005, 11:16:08 AM »
I received an email today for admitted American students, funny thing is that I didn't know that I had already been accepted!  Granted I'm on spring break and there could be an accepted pacakge waiting for me at my apt., I just thought that this was funny.  Goes with the title of American, kinda, maybe, or maybe not.

I received the same email and replied, asking when the packet was mailed. Apparently it was mailed last week.

So I guess this is their backwards way of informing me that I was accepted.

Oh, I'm sorry - who needs the cold??

I could have been an Eskimo lawyer...

That sucks.

What are your numbers, if you don't mind me asking?

3.26 gpa/ 163 LSAT.

It was a medium to long shot but I was still hopeful.

Could be worse. And you'll have Kirkwood bars to soothe your frazzles law student nerves! ;)

That's another thing...Bloomington tends to get on my nerves. Too many drunk college students. Once when I was down there, I was pegged by a water balloon by a bunch of Chads/Todds in a car. Those animals.

SAME!! I'm from Evansville. They're handing this stuff out like candy, it seems ;)

Are you guys IU grads?

Purdue branch campus grad.

And they may be handing it out like candy but due to my Minnesota rejection, it's beginning to look pretty good.

Join the club. I received my rejection letter from Minnesota yesterday as well.  I could have wasted that application fee on, well...anything besides a big fat rejection!

Oh, if only we had been smart enough to assume they'd reject us and spend the app fee money on booze instead! We're FOOLS!

Indiana Univ. with money. About $13,500 for 2nd and 3rd years.

In-state tuition, too, but g-d, I want to get out of Indiana.
