Correct, because it would address the issue of frequency

Resolve/Explain EXCEPT

E doesn't say anything about the frequency of accidents, which is what we're concerned with.

The stimulus says NOTHING about the seriousness of acidents.

So.. it does not help to explain the paradox, so it is the correct answer choice.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: "Why Test" for Main Point questions
« on: November 25, 2004, 03:04:51 PM »
YEah the Why test is used for all conclusion-based questions (mp, assumption, weaken, strengthen)

Find whatever you think the main point is, and ask yourself "Why?"  The rest of the passage should make sense as an answer to that question why.  If one sentence stands out as definately not making sense as an answer why, then it's probably the conclusion (although sometimes it's just a "garbage" sentence)

I think it's a really good idea to make the LSAT a big part of admissions... although that may be because the LSAT happens to test the only things I've ever been good at :)
