they have no chance now...they wouldve have been in a better position if they had kurt thomas bc he was actually playin really well...now they're left with grant as the big man for them and he honestly sucks.

Financial Aid / Re: Are law school grants or loans taxed?
« on: April 02, 2006, 08:43:40 PM »
grants and scholarships are not taxed if given by the school to get u to go there.

outside scholarships like from a newspaper or an organization are taxable as income.

loans aren't taxed bc it's not income...you have to pay it back...when you do start paying it back the interest you pay is deductable.

tuition may be deductable (up to a certain amount) depending on a lot of variables

if im wronga bout any of this correct

Here's another Isiah joke:

The woman who accused him of sexual harassment wanted $2 million to settle the case, but Isiah countered with $50 million over 4 years.

ripped from ESPN

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Talk w/ BU admissions officer

I think it's based on residency...i know of some schools that directly link to the rhode island scholarship in addition to the aba minority scholarship on their webpages. while other schools reference them as sources for financial aid.

penn sent a generic fafsa reminder a few days before droppin rejections and acceptances on people.

don't read into it as a good sign or a bad sign.
