Site Suggestions and Announcements / Just a thought
« on: July 24, 2003, 09:58:32 AM »

I just wanted to let you know that this is an awesome site and you have done an excellent job. I have done a few websites, but more for business use, and understand the effort it takes to maintain a successful site. So cheers!

Yes, pleeeeease....someone with knowledge about this, give some insight. I really want to know.

Are there dramatic differences between the demand of attorneys from top tier vs. 2nd,3rd tier schools? This is in terms of salary, job placement, etc? Or is that all a myth while the true indicator is not which school you go to, but how well you do IN law school?

PLEASE, we need answers!!!  ::)

The dilemma that you are in, with everything at hand, can only be improved if someone as prestigous as a judge vouches for you. I say do it, and there is no question at all.

But I also think that a letter would really help...being that it would be something concrete that the admissions counselors can hold, look at, etc etc.

Best of Luck!

What are some thoughts on Pepperdine? Being that it is in the Los Angeles area with higher ranked schools like UCLA, USC, and Loyola, is Pepperdine still strong?

Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if taking the LSAT with accommodations, like being in a seperate room(with proctor) while taking the test, is relayed onto the law schools one is applying to? And if so, is it seen in a negative light?

Studying for the LSAT / Oct. 4th LSAT!!!!

Hi everyone. I am taking the TestMasters course right now, before the Oct. 4th LSAT day of horror. However, I have one very important question: is it a good idea to get the Logic Games Bible and practice with that in addition to the TestMasters course?

Can anyone please tell me from experience? All I hear is praise for the book and how it is a marvelous addition to LSAT preparation. However, will it interfere by any means to the TestMasters agenda?  Will it go against what TestMasters is teaching? Or is it a good idea?!!

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Is Testmaster's really  worth $1,250?

I just want to let everyone know that I have already improved 10 points through TestMasters. We are about 2/3 of the way done with the course, but I still have much more time to improve even more.

So in regards to IS THE COURSE WORTH THE MONEY? Yes, I think so. I think I can still improve much more, because I have not even come close to doing all my practice problems and the instructional guides(due to long work days). So, just to give those who want evidence that the course does work...yes.

(these score increases are based on diagnostic tests taken so far)

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Southwestern's SCALE program
« on: July 26, 2003, 07:12:31 AM »
Hey Lance, thanks for the information!  Do you know how long Southwestern has been around?  Reason for asking: do you think they have, in a way, pinnacled their prestige or are still up and coming?

Also, how extensively did you research the firms that recruit at Southwestern? I had no idea they would because I assumed all the firms would be at USC, Loyola, and UCLA. But since you mentioned that, I am going to look into Southwestern as a potential option.

I look forward to reading your response.
