Law School Admissions / Re: Am I making a mistake with my law school plan?

This is serious, believe it or not. I will be 19 at the end of this year. This has kind of been my plan since I decided where to go to undergrad and I honestly never questioned it. Now that it's actually approaching for real, though, I'm reconsidering. I never expected to do quite that well on the LSAT, which is why I thought the school I'm looking at would be a fine fit. I'm definitely not in a hurry to get into the working world.

The main issue now is pressure from my parents. I need so few credits to graduate that I'd feel like I'm wasting my time taking another year. I suppose I could get another minor or something.

Law School Admissions / Am I making a mistake with my law school plan?

Here's my situation:
I'm in my second year of undergrad. I came in with a lot of credit and only need a couple more classes. The law school at the university I currently attend has an early entrance program. I could start this next year. It would fulfill the rest of the undergrad credits I need and I could finish law school+undergrad in 5 years. I would also have my tuition paid for.

Further, I am an athlete, and have 3 more years of eligibility. I would like to use at least one more year of competition.

I have a 170 LSAT, 4.0 GPA (for now anyways). The school I'm looking at has an average LSAT of 157. I'm being told that I'm wasting my time/potential going to this school.

I am in the process of finishing applying to this school, but now I'm wondering if I'm making a mistake. I don't have hugely ambitious career goals, but I don't want to end up unemployed or barely employed. Any input is appreciated.
