Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if Law Schools take into account how many others schools you are applying to. On just about every app there is always a place where they want you to list all the schools to which you applied.
I intend on applying to about 6 schools, but I dont want my chances to go to the better school to be hurt, because they feel I am not serious about attending there school.
Would they know If I didn't list all the schools to which I applied? I wonder if it would show up somewhere on the LSDAS Report they recieve?

HEY THANKS FOR THE SPEAKER WIRE TIP. I DID THE SAME, AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY. U REALLY SAVED ME ALOT OF TIME BY NOT HAVING TO LOOK FOR A SILET WATCH; WHICH I DON'T THINK EVEN EXIST.

I was recently speaking with a co-worker who had gone through the Law School Admitance process 4 years ago. He had stated to me that he herd that their was an "LSAT Stop Watch" avaiable that did not make any audio noise (for those of you who know it is hard to find a good noiseless watch), in fact he stated that this watch actualy vibrated to let you know when you have a specified amount of time left.
Does anyone know anything about such a stop watch? or
Do any of you have any good tips on a specific stop watch that meets the criterie of the LSAT test guidlines?

I am unsure about testmasters course in NY, but I am scheduled to begin the course here in MI. on July 14th. I have herd contradicticting things about testmasters. Some people say that it is really only good if you live in California, where they are based out of. Argument says that is where all the good teachers are.
I don't know if that is true, but I have done some pretty extensive research on all the test prep courses, and testmasters seems (I hope) to be the best.
I took the LSAT last Feb and scored a herendous 140. It really sucked too cause I poured alot of time and energy into studying on my own.
I think for those of us who don't really know anyone in law school or have alot of expierence with the exam, the courses must be the way to go.
I am putting all my eggs in the testmaster basket, I hope they can help me achieve a more attractive score.
I figure if it turns out to be all it is cracked up to be on their website, I should not be disappointed.

According to LSAT research, the pool of test takers who take the June and October Exams tend to do better. These are usualy the smart kids trying to get into the Ivy leage schools and get on the ball for early admissions. The December and Febuary takers are more likly to be second chance takers or less prepared takers.
As you know probbaly know,the LSAT is a curbed Exam.This is what explains the descrepency you are asking about.
I thought the exact same thing as I kept scoring within that same range of questions right.
I recently noticed that if you get a particular score, like you get one more question right, even if your score dos not change, it can up your precentage ranking by as much as 2 points. This can prove crucial when it knocks you from the 49th to the 51st or 59to 60th which will be more appealing on your LSDA Report to admissions officers.

I just had 1 Logic Games Section, and yes it was the one about putting desses in order and placing people around a table , so I assume that had to of been the Legit Logic Games Section.
I also only had one Reading Comp, and I remeber it too had the passage about the fuel in India, so that most too have been the Legit section.
I did however have three Logic Reasoning Sections, 2nd 3rd and 5th. I really have no idea as to which was the expieremental. I remeber that the 2nd section was fairly easy in comparison to the other Logic Reasoning Sections.
I don't think there is really a sure-fire way to know, unless one can actualy remeber content, as we have in the Logic Games and Reading Comp.
