To my knowledge, UH doesn't give full rides.

General Off-Topic Board / Re: Is my husband an ass?
« on: October 30, 2004, 09:32:31 AM »
Wow.  He, indeed, sounds like an ass and you sound like you don't respect him very much.  Don't divorce him because them some other unfortunate woman who deserves better would get stuck with that BS.

I think I'm gonna go kiss my boyfriend and thank him for being a great guy.

I would think "unknown" would be a more accurate answer.  His income shouldn't be figured into your contibution towards your education if he is not in your life.

One woman got into Baylor for fall, with a full ride.

Law School Applications / Re: Texas hasn't requested my report....

So, I was at Texas today for a tour, and they mentioned this thread.  Not specifically, but as in "someone posted wanting to know why their retport hasn't been pulled".

They said to be patient and give them some time, dude.  There are only 5 of them and 2 or 3 have been out recruiting for several weeks.  They'll get to it soon.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: post your score here

160 in Oct 02, 163 on this one.  I moved up from the 82nd %tile to the 90th, but I'm not even sure I want to waste my 70 bucks on UT now.  Sigh.  What a waste of time.

I only missed 2 on the games (which I thought killed me) and NINE in RC!

Book sales, auctions, trades, etc. / Kaplan PREP COURSE Books.

From the $1100 Kaplan course. The lesson book has lots of hand written tips gleaned from the class.

Lesson book is well marked, home study book about 2/3 and orange book about 1/3 marked up.  The explanations alone are worth it for these books.  First $100 gets all 3.  I'll check back here for interest.

Don't think it's been sent out yet.  I would have received it.

Personal Statement / Addendum for previous LS matriculation?

How should I even start this? Just dive right in and make it short and sweet, or more like a PS with a background, etc?

What was the parallel reasoning one with a small car/big car? It was mentioned on another board, and I'll can't remember it for the life of me.

Also, what did everyone put for the Michaelangelo/Forgery/other guy question?  The wone with the "hatching" and telling who is the original artist?
