Eh, Ave Maria doesn't look to be too bad of a place. I pass it whenever I go to my friend's house, he lives like, right next to it. As for how good of a law school it is? Certainly below harvard.

I used to be a member of this site but haven't been on it in about 8 months. Just saying hello, and also now it's a bit more appropriate time to make use of some of the helpful opinions on this website, as at the end of this year would be the time I have to apply.
Anyone know how? I'd love tips on how to write music. I have absolutely no musical background, but I've been playing around with a midi program lately. I'm trying to have a piece composed for a very special friend of mine for her birthday, and while I will likely hire a professional composer (I've already found one and he's agreed to do it) this has sparked my interest in writing/reading music.
Also I highly recommend Anvil Studio. Free program that lets you use 128 different instruments.
Also do you think a song dedicated entirely to her, with lyrics for both a male and female part written in French would be a nice present?

watchmaker argument, evolution and the second law of thermodynamics.
What precisely is wrong with the frequency of alleles changes over time, and entrophy increases over time in a closed system (Not the exact second law, but it's effect. I'd really rather not get involved in all of the chemistry, as I'm a tad rusty on it, with all those Hs and Qs, and that's the gist of the effect).
I'll get into the watchmaker argument a bit later.
But honestly, what is wrong with either of the concepts I said?

I had my avatar up for a bit, sweater and all, and it certainly wasn't good looking
There was once a guy on my campus with a giant sign screaming "You're ALL GOING TO HELL!!!!!"
I couldn't help but laughing. A bunch of people apparently went up to him and told him to @#!* off.
I was tempted to buy him a bottle of water and an apple, and then eventually let it slip that I was an atheist
I did mean it sort of as a joke...
As you said, forcing a woman to remain at home would be barbaric. However, you mentioned in your post that it was a mutual decision and I most certainly do not want to come off as saying that you two can't decide among yourselves what is best. I did not mean for it to be taken seriously.
As for trying to win brownie points with the female posters, what the hell do I care about whether they like my opinions or not? I try to be personable and friendly to everyone, but if someone greatly dislikes my opinions, I'm certainly not going to cow tow to them because they're female. I strongly feel that everyone is equal, and that means women can deal with the same sort of things men have historically had to deal with, and men can deal with the same sort of things that women have historically had to deal with.
But still, I did not mean for you to take it as a judgement or disapproval of your lifestyle. It wasn't particularly meant in a serious light. My apologies.
