Book sales, auctions, trades, etc. / LEEWS CDs for sale
« on: January 05, 2009, 09:36:44 PM »
Hi, I have the LEEWS CD program for sale, which comes with the primer and all the CDs in the case. I got it as a gift when I started law school but never used it, and I just graduated... So please take it off my hands! I see that it's sold for $160 at I'd like $100 for it. Please contact me if you are interested. Thank you!

Wait List / Re: Chances for BC priority waitlist?

yeah, i think i might, as well. i'm heading over to cali and already found myself a roommate. it would be bad form for me to back out when/if bc actually decides to contact me. well, there's the chance i'll transfer. good luck everybody. it takes a determined person to accept a spot off the waitlist, and if you can do it, all the power to you.  :)

Wait List / Re: BC, next few weeks

Why do you think other schools (ie. BU) have pulled quite a number of applicants from the WL already? I thought they had the second deposit due at the same time as BC.

I don't have enough patience for this!!

Thanks all for your help! I just sent in my deposit!

I'm sending my deposit in today but I noticed that the deposit form which I have to sign has only two choices:

1. Going to Emory for sure (...see no reason which will prevent me from attending.)
2. Not going to Emory

I'm decided on Emory, but will not attend if I get off the waitlist at another institution. How should I address this? Should I just put a check next to #1?

Yeah, I do like the idea of being in a city. I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and face the loans!!

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Cornell Reserve List

If they're giving it another look, that means that there is at least one spot open, doesn't it?  :-\

Well, I would eventually want to settle down in Boston or NYC. About 60% of Emory grads are placed out of state (including the NE) whereas Davis grads stay mainly in CA, which is another reason I'm unsure... But yes, it seems as if Davis grads do pretty well. Thanks for your help.

I go back and forth everyday and now I only have a few days left to decide. Any input will be appreciated.

I will be in huge amounts of debt at either school, but $35,000 to $50,000 less at Davis, which is definiately a significant amount.

However, Davis is overshadowed in the CA market by all those great schools in the area and job prospects seem better at Emory... or so they appear.

Please help!!  ???
