Actually, I thought that's how it worked too. Isn't the scale just a calculation of all the scores of everyone that took the test spread out on the same curve year after year? If the test is hard, then more people get more wrong (less right) so to get the highest lsat score a lower number of correct answers are needed. And just the opposite....if the test is easy, and a lot a people get a lot right, it moves the curve up (like Oct) making more correct answers necessary for the highest score. The scale is based completely on how the people that took it performed. logic game 101 |
