It has a multitude of connotations, none which I'll repeat here, but it really can be applied to a lot of people.  Fantastic. I'm off to use it

Completely unrelated, might I say that "dickrider" has a really great ring to it? It's very unique.  Major props, I'm going to try to insult someone tonight with it.

Not too concerned about it - wasn't really interested in living in DC and am very satisfied with my school

Oh, I got my WL-rejection letter like three weeks ago.  My mom never even told me about it and I came home from school and it was shuffled in my mail.  No LOCI sent though on my half so I wasn't too surprised.

Update: I've called her back twice and I've yet to hear. Maybe its a one-shot phone call and then that's your only chance.  If it is I'm going to have to laugh/cry/killself cause I screened the call cause I didn't recognize the number and I knew it wasn't my LS calling.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Anyone else tired of Kaplan's dumb jokes?

In the lone defense of Kaplan.. I was scoring 161-162s on my practice tests, and walked away from the LSAT with a 166. Go figure. Kaplan, or me? I credit both (and maybe pure dumb luck)

Hello all,
I'm on a waitlist for a school, and they called me yesterday.  I didn't get to my phone, and when I called back she was in a meeting.  Although I fully intend on going somewhere else, I'm still curious - would a LS call to reject you? Opine away!

Law School Admissions / Re: ITT You Help Wally Network?

I think its important that while, yes this guy is an attorney and important and all that, he's still a person and being stuffy and matriculating-y isn't the best way (imo) of going about making a network connection. He's got to like you for you (that's what my mommy told me).  I think you should be personal and friendly without being "hey buddy." Something a little friendlier seems appropriate
