General Board / Re: So everyone in law school uses a laptop during class?
« on: September 07, 2008, 03:02:14 AM »
I'd say very close to 100% of my class uses laptops to take notes. Many of them use OneNote, though there are other programs, too. There is one professor I know of who does not allow computers in class, but otherwise I know I have some classes where every single student uses a laptop.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Kent VS Pepperdine

I know this is probably too late and beside the point now, but I think Kent is a fantastic school. It's not a big name outside of Chicago, but it is well respected here. Also, the faculty is really, really good. It's a great school pretty much all around.

Rejected at Chicago today via snail-mail.

Sorry FSohn. I know you really wanted to get in there :(

I can take a look in a few hours.

I'll be glad to look if you haven't sent it off.

I liked a lot of things about Kent. I think I like a smaller student body, so it had that going for it. The students I met all seemed really happy there, and they had good things to say about the school. I always like to ask the students I meet what they would change about their school if they could, and I liked the answers I got at Kent the most out of any school I've visited thus far. The professors also seemed really invested in the school. Does that help at all?
