Studying for the LSAT / Re: All Star Test Prep
« on: January 08, 2009, 02:22:27 PM »
It is basic to the point. And it is only one study giude for two tests. Yes so far so good, but I just started on going over my june 07 test (one that he explains) question by question. it is a good starter book and helps build a base to tackle tests and review of tests.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: All Star Test Prep

Im going through it right now it it is laid out like superprep in that it gives the reason why answers are wrong also. I like his logic and it is pretty simple stupid. Only 2 tests are covered as I wish he did more but time and logistics im sure limits that. I am glad though he answers questions here and the other forum I setup.

Trust me, the part where it's in Austin is appealing, especially considering that I live in Austin.

Staying in your place and not moving>>>>>>>Driving up the 35 and dealing with Waco

Its not about just completing them but actually learing the techniques and learing the logic that goes along with it.

Current Law Students / Re: Applying to an MBA program during 1L year....

Look into Penn's new 3-year JD/MBA...

P.S.  Wharton's not a bad perk.   ;)

Yeah Wharton only slight advantage over someone with just a JD. heck if i got into Wharton alone and not Penn I would forego LS all together.

I was pondering the JD/MBA joint myself, I got stuck in a long line at borders and read a book about MBA's. Does anyone have any experience with firms looking down upon this. I think I read somewhere that they do. Would kinda suck if I had 4 years of debt and no job  :'(

excellent just excellent. So if by chance they make playoffs and actaully do damage do you think Tom Brady will be more labeled a system QB versus the legend everyone precieves him to be. I mean Cassel has not started since HS. And does this help Cassel find a job next year with a bunch of dough

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Which CA T2?

USD is the big fish in the pond that is San Diego. There are three law schools here two are T4 and then there is USD. For the most part if you network right out of USD you have good job prospects from what I have heard and gathered. Everyone here looks at USD really well.

Size of your red bull pref. I really enjoy the 16.9 oz cans myself. On a daily basis mind you. I have a Red Bull addiction

I only recently found out that you can get them in larger cans! I will have to try some when spring exams come around.  Meanwhile, I have been consuming the 8.4 oz ones, which Costco sells in cases of 32 cans. They are my preference since I haven't tried the larger ones yet.

Yes I bought the last case of 16.9 oz cans from the costco here. Guess they dont sell them like that anymore by the case. I likied the idea but it sucks when it was a really rough night and I have work all day and then class at night and I take two of em during the day. Im so gonna dye by age 35 of a heart attack (im 31 mind you)
