BTW, you guys should check this out.
Very cool, but is it possible to see a video of Michigan without soaring orchestral music? I'm getting a bit tired of it.

I got a call yesterday the Michigan admissions office that assuaged basically all of my worries about Michigan. I have to say Michigan does a better job than anyone in the whole wooing process, and I think I'm basically set on Michigan now unless Northwestern rocks my world.
What worries did you have, Shark Week? I'm just curious.
Consensus is it may be to your advantage if you check both summer and fall start (they decide which to accept you to). ED (mandatory summer start) may be outright easier to gain acceptance to (for proof, see my LSN page).

I like pikeys, they're like angry real-life leprechauns.
I didn't see this question in the 1L thread: What are the chances of finding a May-May lease for a place near the law school? Is this possible, or do most summer starters just occupy sublets during the summer and scramble to move somewhere else in August?
Status checker went to "decision" yesterday, so unless they're now rejecting ED candidates right off, so it looks like I'm in. Of course I'll still be on edge for the next few days wondering. I had a hit-or-miss PS and a lame resume which contained a typo to boot. Sometimes I image one of my recommenders is secretly socipathic.
See you all in the Michigan 2011 thread.

Hurrah! Status checker went to "decision" today, so I think I'm in as a summer starter..unless they are now rejecting ED candidates right off. I am very interested in the Phid House, which I understand to be some sort of nefarious skull-and-bones-type society.
