Would anyone be willing to share their experiences with full-time January start programs? I am seriously considering applying to the one at Cardozo this cycle,
but would be interested to hear about the program at other schools as well.

My impression so far is that if you have some previous real work experience and can swallow going straight through for a year, it is a time saver and doesn't really hurt for summer 2L job prospects.

Or not?

LSAC and LSDAS / Re: LSDAS GPA

I just did my own LSDAS calculation and it looks like I will go from a 3.75 to a 3.9 because my UG didn't factor in previous schools (amounting to 40 credits of A's) and counted A+'s as 4.0's.
Still waiting on confirmation from LSDAS (one school taking their time to hand in transcripts).
Has anyone else experienced such a dramatic positive shift? I'm hoping I'm not mis-calculating...

Hello,
I am strongly considering applying to Canadian schools next year with the purpose of eventually practicing in Canada. My Q is, what about my American husband? Will he have trouble obtaining a work visa while I am in school? Probably a question for admissions, but curious if anyone has experience with such a situation.
