Maybe what I should do is have another "neighborhood trash clean up day" and only invite those I know who are: dreadlocked hippies, black, hispanic, asian or are in any way different from whitey over there. While he is outside staring at all of them, I will bust into his house, take his TV and DVD player, sell them and donate the money to the NAACP! That would get him! (just kidding of course, but it's nice to fantasize about)

perhaps next yr you can lead one of the sections MC...
Ditto on the funding! I may not have gotten too much from it, but it looked like I was in the minority. It seemed to really help some people.
BTW, did I meet any of you here?
Hey, I think I met both of you guys (MC and Bluenine)! PM me...

We went through all that last year. This is a slow time for talking about law school apps. Most of us are preparing to leave for law school in the next few weeks, and maybe we'd rather talk about something else right now. We've talked about plenty of legal stuff, and we discussed applications ad nauseum, but we're all talked out now. If you weren't a newbie, you'd know that. I don't blame you for your lack of awareness, but please don't come on here with this type of attitude if you don't really know.
Anyway, sorry if I bit your head off a little before. It's all love.
Your first post just came off incredibly harsh and judgemental.

This is one of the many reasons that I didn't attend a predominately black college/university... this board is littered with people who can not even express themselves clearly without the use of slang.
That's really offensive. Where did this come from? And just because ppl choose to write in certain ways on a message board
doesn't mean they can't
express themselves differently if they choose to do so.

Those brothas aren't on the DL; they on some LD!
RBG don't you wear you hair just like the second one from the right?
LMAO. RBG, you know it's true.
That's not for real, is it? It can't be!

What were your numbers? For a split of roughly 2.6/170--what do you think? Is the T14 out of the question?
Wow, that's quite a split. I agree with Mobell--if you don't have a good excuse for the low GPA, you will probably be shut out of the top 14 schools. However, you'll probably get offered a lot of money from lower-ranked schools. But who knows, if you put together a good enough application (make sure everything else is flawless), you might be surprised at the schools that will accept you.

I had a high LSAT/mediocre GPA split and it worked out okay. I had some fairly exceptional extras, though, and I really think that made a big difference in my application outcomes.

I know a single guy who's going to med school who only dates black girls, if you are in Florida and want to try to net him. He's really annoying and vain, though. This is evidenced by this picture:

I agree with scurvey about the environment thing. There was like one black family in my town, so if any of their kids wanted to date, they had no choice but to go outside their race. I think they turned out fine
I bet they didn't turn out as fine as you think. At least some of them have major identity issues, I promise. I grew up similarly, and I wish every day that I hadn't. We learned to cope, of course, but it really messes with your head to always be different and to be surrounded by people who don't look like you.
