At this point...I'll be satisfied with a Pass (Grading scale=High Pass, Pass, Low Pass).  How is school for everyone else?

I'm sooooooooo glad that the semester is coming to an end :-\

I can see that.. as I went through something similar... however if you're willing to rule out any type of social life.. it can happen :D

@ GW you can actually attend part time and finish the degree in three yrs if you take classes every summer as well..

I meant it was impossible for them to manage law school and a full-time job.  I guess their problem wouldn't apply if you didn't work.

That's what I think I might try to do...

Not me, but I know a couple folks who attempted to do that at GULC.  They said it was nearly impossible and both switched to full time the second year.

Why was it impossible? Because they were working?

Is anyone considering going to law school part-time?  I have been toying with the idea for a while now, and I think I may submit a request to do so.

Homecomin better be better than last year

Did you go last year? Didn't it pour all through YardFest?

Of course I went to yardfest...and it rained, but not pouring. The only thing that was tight was the afta party at dream, but it ended early. I don't think anyone really worth listening to showed up last year.

Yeah last year sucked horribly...and the year before that...and the year before that lol.  I don't think I enjoyed homecoming as much since my freshmen year (2000)

Ok I din't go to a HBCU so maybe I just don't get it. But has anyone looked at the time and quality involved in and looked at the law schools site where at this point I don't even believe the link is up. Now I am seriously considering howard because I realize the website doesn't reflect the quality of the school. However don't you think this kind of leaves a bad impression especially for a school that holds professionalism so highly.

The Homecoming Steering Committee handles everything regarding Homecoming, not Howard University.  Also, please note that the Homecoming has corporate sponsorships, and we make mad loot for Washington, DC.  Don't get it twisted, if we had half of the money going into the actual law school from outside donors like we do for Homecoming, I'm sure it would be up to par.  On the old law school website, it mentioned that a new website would be up shortly anyway.
