also, i'll be moving to a new city and as of the moment, haven't received any word from my boss or human resources as to whether the company will extend me a job over there. i'm beginning to wonder whether it would be a good idea to look for a totally new job or just not work at all. i opted to go p/t so that i could have some income but looking/finding a new job is going to one more thing to get stressed out about.

i plan to spend around 4 hrs a night studying. that's pretty close to what f/t students spend. i'll try to adjust my study habits around that. but i think 4 hrs is a pretty reasonable.

i'll be a 1l this fall but going p/t eve while working f/t. anyone out there do this and if so, what's a typical day for you like? how many hours study? time for anything else not school related? i like to go to gym but obviously school will eat into that time. i'll appreciate the feedback.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: June 14, monterey college of Law

i took the test in oct 2003.i thought the site was ok. i live in salinas so it was easy getting there. it's a really old building with no airconditioning but it doesn't have hundreds of people crammed into a conference hall siiting 2 feet apart (unlike test centers in the bay area). i thought it was a good place to take the lsat. did not do well at all. i scored way lower than my practice tests. i came out feeling pretty good so i was pretty shocked when the results came out. i thought about retesting - even did another prep course- but i thought i'd send in applications anyway. winter came around and i spent too much time snowboarding in tahoe, so i never really got to train for the feb test. anyway i was accepted to nyls which i'll be attending this august. i'm reasonably satisfied although i was hoping to get into a T2 school.
