Law School Applications / Re: Soft Factor: Senior Thesis?
« on: June 18, 2008, 12:13:12 AM »
If it's an honors thesis and you don't receive honors until graduation, your thesis might be useful for getting off a waitlist or two, but otherwise it's not going to be a huge deal.

That said, writing my thesis was really rewarding and I'm glad I know what it feels like to tackle a large project--your thesis might be worth writing if only for the experience of it.

I respectfully disagree. Writing my thesis nothing more than a waste of time.

I'm so antsy. You think next week? And how come there were no June admits from the WL last year?

Me too. I know I shouldn't be getting my hopes up, but I can't help it.

And I have no idea why there were no June admits last year on LSN. Either there were none or none of them were on LSN.

Someone on TLS called and was told that they won't start taking people from the waitlist until late May/early June.

Stupid question, but how did you come up with the total amount you'll end up paying?

Tag.

I heard that Stanford creates a class and then adjusts accordingly.  The demographic point sounds credited.

You riding out this waitlist too?

Doesn't NYU require that you withdraw from all wait lists?

Nope.

I wonder if they'll accept anyone off the waitlist this month. They should know how their class is shaping up by now.
