I'm crestfallen. I love the Cardinals. Anyone remember the famous SI cover with Kurt Warner and "who is this guy"? I was hoping to see another one of those.

Congrats. That's similar to what I had in a secondary market, and it's generally called a "callback." After the lengthy interview(s), they'll decide whether to extend you an offer for 1L summer, skip next year's callback and give you a possible 2L offer, or ding you for the time being.
I enjoyed my callback. Just take it easy and try to connect with the interviewers. Talk about what they want to talk about. In one interview, I talked to the guy about a small town in my home state, but it turns out we both know the area well.
Just sent you a PM.

They used to say that it was 50-60% callback to offer ratio for 2Ls, but it was NOT that this year. I went about 50% (admittedly applying to top firms in places where I had no geographic connection) with good resume from a T14 school. Last year I went 80% callback to offer ratio (as a 1L). It was a crapshoot this year for 2Ls, and it's ALWAYS a crapshoot for 1Ls.
i was 2/3 1L year, 4/5 2L year.
cool thx. i figured it would be a crapshoot.

"MPC"="Modern Penal Code"
This link explains it:
Thanks . i'm familiar with the Modern Penal code.... but not the abbreviation
Really? That's interesting. I've never met someone who knows the MPC and never seen the abbreviation.
