That's similar to what I had in a secondary market, and it's generally called a "callback." After the lengthy interview(s), they'll decide whether to extend you an offer for 1L summer, skip next year's callback and give you a possible 2L offer, or ding you for the time being. I went about 50% (admittedly applying to top firms in places where I had no geographic connection) with good resume from a T14 school. Last year I went 80% callback to offer ratio (as a 1L). It was a crapshoot this year for 2Ls, and it's ALWAYS a crapshoot for 1Ls. cool thx. i figured it would be a crapshoot. 8
