Thanks for the insight, goaliechica. Wouldn't expect you to know answers to admissions questions, but that was certainly helpful (didn't realize they discouraged additional statements in the initial application, and that's basically what it would be, just a little late). I think I'll just wait it out.

I have #s near the medians, and most of the people who applied/went complete around the same time as me were either accepted or sent for faculty review last month, while I have not heard anything. I am wondering if the silence means a rejection is likely, or if it is still too early to tell. I am considering sending in something like a LOCI, basically a "Why Boalt?" letter--figuring I don't have much to lose. Is this a bad idea?

If your recommenders are willing, I suppose it wouldn't hurt. However, if I were in your position, I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for that since the advantage, if any, would be negligible. I don't think it's worth asking them to write a second letter.

Just want to check if it makes sense, if I have good ratio of white space, etc. I struggled my ass off to get it onto one page and it doesn't look as pretty as I thought it would be.

Thanks Ender and all. I wish I could see it to make sure everything is correct (I don't particularly suspect any problems, but I am generally paranoid about all things law school application related).

Boys boys.
I think Tuesday is too soon to hope for... I doubt the change in the cancellation deadline would have that much of an effect on their timeline of getting scores ready for release. But then again, I'm not sure why they would change the deadline, other than to speed up some process or another. In any case I'll be checking LSAC constantly.

Sorry, I hate typing out "his or her."
It's cool. Probably better than how I called you "it". Just teasin' ya.

Actually I'm a gay gal (I believe it was Mr. Sergio who gave me the male pronoun a couple posts up). But I would still join your thread!
