I think it is always good to get a response like that from a school. Which school is it, if you don't mind sharing?

PMd it to you :)

Hey guys, I saw this and thought it was a cool thread.

I had a 157 from September, and got in at George Mason, my #1 choice.  There were a few other good schools that accepted me, but being ED, I had to withdraw hearing back from everyone.  You can definitely get into a Tier 1 being in the 150's.

Congrats on GMU - thats a great acceptance!!!

I sent snail mail, then followed about 4 days later with an email just saying that the letter was mailed to the LS on date XYZ and that I was attaching it in electronic format for their convenience.

I actually heard back this AM - something to the effect of:  We appreciate your desire to attend law school and are very pleased that XYZ is one of your top choices.  We will share your letter with the admissions staff right away.

Do you think this is a GOOD sign? Or no sign or what?

Tnx.

159 for me. Although I was testing in the 165 range (and my first section I missed 8 more questions than any other section because of nerves) I didn't think about retaking as I am looking very regionally. I am hoping to end up in Alabama and my scoreed made me competitive.

Ive been accepted to Cumberland (in Bham) and have a scholarship interview on Tuesday -- wish me luck! I am also hoping and praying that U of Alabama will let me in!! Its my alma mater and id love to be back there, at a T1 no less. Any one want to weigh in on my chances there?

Good luck to all!!

I responded to the ones that came from an actual person and I actually got a very nice response back ... and a few weeks later an offer to interview for a scholarship.

Cant hurt I guess???

My status checker for Alabama just went from "Complete Ready for Review" to "Decision Made" --

This is a reach school for me, do you think "Decision Made" could simply mean a deferral or waitlist?

Thanks for your opinions!
