On the Today show last week, Dunst wasn't sounding too enthralled with the role. She said she would consider coming back for the fourth if MJ doesn't have to be in peril, and she sounded a little resentful that she had to be in peril again in the third one. She said it wasn't supposed to be like that.
Best Week Ever ran a montage of Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Topher Grace, etc. doing the talk-show circuit/press junkets for the 3rd one - basically one after another, in unenthusiastic tones: "Umm, yeah, I play this guy/girl who has this internal, uhh, struggle..." "Yeeeeaaah, I enjoyed working with everyone, um, it was nice and all" "Go see it. It's, um, the, uh, best one yet. Yeah." Boy, that got me really excited...
Pirates, on the other hand...

A lot of lawyers say this, for what it's worth.
I think a lot of lawyers say this because, like the OP, they think it's funny. Or they're having a bad day. Or they think that you don't have reasonable expectations about what being an attorney is really like.
Next most common advice: Don't be a hero with the all-nighters, worry more about exams than case briefs, make friends with your classmates and don't be That Jerk.
