Clayton --

Are they basing this off of your FAFSA?  If so, the portion under 'Investments' specifically exempts Retirement savings plans, such as a 401(k)...

(edit) Actually, the problem might be that it wasn't reported as contributions to a retirement account, which is on Worksheet B.

No word on the profs, but I have some feelers out (recent alum & a mentor).

8 am sounds worse than it is, I guess.  I usually am at work by 7 am already...

jrcjd07 --

Wow -- I'm Section C as well.  Looking forward to Procedure at 8 am MWF already...and I will have a hard time not referring to 'Teeter Torts' for my Torts prof.

Glad to have you in SA, by the way.  I would've considered UH if it wasn't in Houston (although I am a rarely-seen-in-these-parts Texans fan).

Just heard from my mentor yesterday.  I actually live here, so no need to move or look for a roommate (I'm married to mine).

Kinda taking it easy.  I've read too many books about law school for now, but I'll try to finish Getting to Maybe before classes start.

*raises hand*

So, did they ding people this round or not?  I have a feeling that I am the last person on their list anyway, and yet I still hold out hope...

I actually applied early admissions, smujd2007.

Go Fish  ;)

For what it's worth...

I was 3.05/171 (grad in 96, same as you), in state, and I didn't even get waitlisted at U of Texas...

..of course, being a white male probably didn't help either  ;)

Let's see guts and bold leadership.  Could be Bush.  Could be Mussolini.  Could be Hitler or Stalin.

15 Yard Penalty -- Violation of the 'Hitler Rule' -- you lose an argument automatically when you compare someone to Hitler.

(not that I disagree with your thesis, however)

According to Godwin's Law, this discussion is now over...you may return to your regularly scheduled arguments.  ;)
