LSAT horror stories / Re: Poll: How many pencils did you use on the LSAT?

I am going to bring 3 pencils. I will stick one into each of my ears, thereby cleverly circumnavigating the rule that you can't bring ear plugs.

Any chance it was the LSAT that was making you sick?

Maybe the best preparation is to take your practice tests in the middle of a loud crowded room with people shoving you and coughing on you at random intervals, then you'd be prepared for anything.

Funny, I just ordered books from amazon and passed on Kaplan 180 after reading the reviews which were tepid at best

Does it have the tests, or just the setups?

I doubt you tried vary hard to get a 540 on the SAT, if you were able to do so well on the LSAT

How much do you want, are they marked?

If they are not marked, I'd pay $20 for them

It's an okay book, but the LSAT Explained book is better, plus it covers newer LSATs.  Either one you use, they are the only books that explain real LSATs.
They have a newer games book called Ace the Logic Games, I am waiting for it to arrive.  From what I saw online it looks really good.

Can you keep up the hard work for another 4 months?  If you can, then I don't see what you shouldn't imrprove to where you need to be.  Take all the prep tests, then take them all again.  If that doesn't get you a 170, nothing will.
