sacrilege! caffeine messes up no stomachs -- caffeine is life-sustaining force.

Well, that's true.  But it sometimes makes the stomach unsuited for heavy eating.

hm. this is true. but still, nothing gets between me and my grande americano in the morning.

I think that CLS is a great school; I almost went there.  And I think that the difference between CLS and HLS is slight and fairly arbitrary.  However, I think it would be a mistake to just equate the two, even when talking about firm jobs.  I got a 1L firm job, and the firm came to HLS to interview us.  The only other school they went to was Stanford.  And they told us in the interview that they wanted 1, maybe 2, HLS first years for each office and the same for SLS.  They weren't even considering students from other schools.

By that standard, you also can't put Yale on the same level as Harvard. ;)

You haven't heard? Yale students pick which employers can interview on campus. They weren't prestigious enough...  ;)

:) joking aside, does yale have fewer firms at OCI in comparison to harvard or columbia? i'm muddling through the H/Y decisionmaking process, and can't shake the notion that harvard's just got more breadth of opportunity -- career-wise & class-wise. true or false?

Law School Admissions / Re: When will Yale start rejecting people?
« on: February 14, 2007, 04:40:32 PM »
Don't know when they'll start.  They had an initial delay earlier this cycle which seems to have bumped everything forward by a few weeks.  I would just like my rejection ASAP, so I can be done with this whole cycle.

no yale rejection for you, m'dear

hmm. are there certain apartments where the law students tend to go in terms of housing? i actually like living with fellow students, and the dorm thing (as much as others hate it) really appealed to me at harvard because i like having people around all the freaking time.

i had no idea about the yale housing thing.

SERIOUSLY?!

everyone else has to live off-campus? that's balls.

FIFTEEN?!

what about upperclassmen? do they live in the dorms?
