I've been in a similar dilemma but i've decided it would be dumb to go to another state where I knew no one and had to start over. I think it would be exceedingly difficult to establish new connections, figure out if I want to stay there, etc. I'm honestly not that worried about the low starting salary of LC grads beacuase a lot students do low interest work and the cost of living is fairly low. It has a great rep in the NW and fairly strong job rates (compared to the other NW law schools). I'm pretty sure I want to stay here and I think LC will give me the most options.

Are the new rankings changing your mind about where you might attend next year? Since i want to stay in the NW, I personally was considering taking the money at Willamette, but seeing them drop to T4 tells me that maybe I should rule them out.

At one of the schools I was looking at, they said they send a book called "Law School Without Fear" to incoming 1ls. I was wondering if anybody read it and thought it was worthwile to read?

I'm going to an ASW next week.  Whats the appropriate dress code? Are jeans okay, or should I go with business casual.  I want to be comfortable but I also don't want to come off as a slob.

Also you have to remember that most LandC grads stay in the NW where the cost of living is relatively low.

I voted for Case Western simply because I live on the west coast and
a lawyer I know spoke very highly of the school.
